Graduating from Franklin Pierce Law Center, now University of New Hampshire School of Law, in 1985, Scott is knowledgeable in all aspects of real estate law; however he primarily practices in residential and commercial real estate transactions as the counsel for lenders, sellers, and purchasers. Scott also represents a number of small to medium sized business ventures. Since his graduation in 1985, Scott has been a member of the Maine Bar Association. Scott has also been a member of the Title Standards Committee of the Real Estate section of the Maine Bar Association since 1987. In addition, Scott is a licensed title insurance agent for First American Title Insurance Company.
Scott is a former director of the Winthrop (Maine) YMCA. He is also a member of the Lincoln Therese Filene Charitable Foundation and the Helen and George Ladd Charitable Corporation.
